How much does a flight cost?

Cost is dependent on your requirement, there are several options to choose from on the Skytour website or we can assist to custom design a flight to your requirements and advise a cost.

Can I hire the helicopter for two passengers?

You can hire the helicopter for as many or few passengers as can be carried, however, the cost of the flight remains the same and is more cost effective when it can be shared between the maximum number of passengers.

How do I pay?

All Skytour flights must be prepaid, you can choose to pay by cash on the day, direct credit or credit card: we accept Mastercard & Visa (2.65% bank charge applies for credit card transactions). We also accept Farmlands cards.

What should we wear?

Dress for the season, although in winter you would need a jacket.

Can I take a camera?

Yes you can, the pilot will discuss how to use the camera safely whilst flying.

When should I book?

It is always good to book in advance to ensure helicopter availability. If you need to book at short notice we will do our best to accommodate you.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you have booked and paid for your flight, we will refund in full up 48 hours prior to the flight, 48 hours or less – no refund. If the flight is cancelled due to weather or emergency (e.g. fire attendance), you can choose to re-book or we will fully refund your flight.

Are there weight limits?

Yes, each helicopter has a maximum weight it can carry. This is decided by the number of passengers, luggage and fuel required for the flight. When making your booking if the maximum number of passengers are flying, please don’t be offended if you are asked to describe your passengers as it is for the comfort and safety of all to ensure that the helicopter weight limit is not exceeded.

What is the seating configuration?

Two passengers in the front with the pilot and four passengers in the rear cabin area.

Can we take small children?

You will need to advise the age of children when making your booking and if needed the pilot will supply an extension seat belt for any child that can safely sit on the parent/ or care givers knee.

What hours are you open?

Normal office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. We do take bookings for Saturdays and will fly outside of these hours as required.  You can also use our online enquiry form.
